Play musically with your baby through bouncing and rocking songs, wiggle and peek-a-boo games, dancing, moving, and singing. Music play activities are designed to increase your child’s curiosity about music, to develop listening skills and a sense of beat, and to establish the foundation for singing and musical thought.

Shea Haney
Shea is new to Musikgarten, first offering the early childhood music classes in August 2023. However, her experience teaching early childhood began long before in a student teaching program offered through her high school. After graduation, Shea continued teaching early and elementary children in music and theatre through community theatre productions with Rivertown Players in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Now, in Cincinnati, Shea contributes to the arts community by teaching preschool music classes through Cincinnati Preschool Promise and offering courses at Clifton Cultural Arts Center. Shea also plays important roles in various administrative capacities at MUSE: Cincinnati’s Women’s Choir, Linton Chamber Music, and Linton’s Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions utilizing her expertise gained from earning an M.A. in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky.
Outside of music and administration, Shea finds joy in serenading her pets with improvised tunes, expressing her creativity through crochet projects (more works in progress than finished), and sharing coffee and bagels at Findlay Market with her partner.
At Clifton Cultural Arts Center, we believe that everyone has the right to access the arts and to express themselves.
With Fair Share Pricing, we are simplifying the scholarship process by eliminating the need for an application. If you are unable to pay the full tuition amount, you may simply choose one of the provided scholarship levels instead. You can find guidance on which scholarship level we suggest HERE, but the decision is up to you. We will never ask for additional verification or paperwork.
If you are able to cover the tuition cost for a student in need, we encourage you to select the Supporter Level or to make a donation upon checkout to ensure we always have funding for the Fair Share Pricing program.
Support for the Fair Shair Pricing program comes from the Gerald H. Fitzgerald Scholarship Fund and contributors like you.
Please contact Clifton Cultural Arts Center if you have any questions.
