Heroes Rise Street Dance Academy presents a camp program full of high-energy movement and music. Over four days, we’ll journey through the decades, connecting with the dance styles born here in the USA.
Styles like Breakdance, Popping, Krump, and, of course, Hip-Hop. Your young movers will not only learn how to do these dances, but they’ll also learn where the dances come from and who did them first.
This will culminate in an epic dance performance and battle at the end!

Lead Instructor – Julius 'Eclypse' Jenkins
Julius Eclypse Jenkins is a street-style dance professional who has been engaged in the street dance world for over two decades. His training has taken him around the world teaching and performing. While his primary focus is Robotic animation, he has an intimate knowledge of the most popular street dances of Hip-Hop, Breaking, Popping, Locking, House and Krump. Eclypse has performed with a variety of artists like Krs- One, Mr.Carmack, Lupe Fiasco, Herobust, Flux Pavilion, and many others. He’s created Cincinnati’s largest Street Dance Festival, Cincinnati’s first Street Dance program, the Heroes Rise Street Dance Academy, as well as founded the Non-Profit organization, Heroes Rise Inc.Please contact Clifton Cultural Arts Center if you have any questions.
