Description

We know how hard it can be to find Modern Dance classes for children. It is part of our mission and passion to offer Modern Dance for all ages. In Modern, we teach your child the joy of movement: in its creativity, freedom, and power to express! Modern is Mutual Dance Theatre & Arts Center’s favorite technique, because it’s more about innovation and individuality, and less about traditional techniques and movements. Think: barefoot, creative movement, expressivity, and moving through space with different kinds of energy and flow. Dancers will also learn how to utilize the floor. This class is terrific for dancers who are interested in dancing, but not wanting to join in on a classical ballet class!

Ages

Grades 2 – 4

About the Instructor

Mutual Dance Theatre

Mutual Dance Theatre and Arts Centers aim to bring more dance to more Cincinnatians. In all their recreational programs there is no experience necessary, no auditions, no dress code, low time and financial commitment! These programs are "off-site" for "MuDa" and take place at Clifton Cultural Arts Center (with walk-over service from Fairview Clifton German Language School and Clifton Area Neighborhood School).
