This class will Focus on the explosive style of Breaking! Kids will learn fundamental footwork, grooves and freezes.
But wait; there's more! Not only will they learn Breaking, they'll learn other Street Style dances as well. These will include fundamental Hip Hop party dances and Popping.
At the end of session we'll have a presentation showcase and cypher where students will show off what they've learned!

Heroes Rise Street Dance Academy
Lead Instructor – Julius 'Eclypse' Jenkins
Julius Eclypse Jenkins is a street-style dance professional who has been engaged in the street dance world for over two decades. His training has taken him around the world teaching and performing. While his primary focus is Robotic animation, he has an intimate knowledge of the most popular street dances of Hip-Hop, Breaking, Popping, Locking, House and Krump. Eclypse has performed with a variety of artists like Krs- One, Mr.Carmack, Lupe Fiasco, Herobust, Flux Pavilion, and many others. He’s created Cincinnati’s largest Street Dance Festival, Cincinnati’s first Street Dance program, the Heroes Rise Street Dance Academy, as well as founded the Non-Profit organization, Heroes Rise Inc.
Eclypse is a teaching artist at the Cincinnati Ballet Center for Dance and an adjunct Instructor at The University of Cincinnati-CCM and Miami University-Oxford.
Eclypse also provides street dance enrichment programming for Cincinnati Public Schools and various studios around the area.
Eclypse is passionate about street dance culture and is always open to opportunities to share his passion with others.
