Registration for this schedule starts on 01/01/2025 and ends on 07/18/2025
Participants must be entering grades 7 to 12.
For serious young artists aiming to take their skills to the next level, Portfolio Building Camp offers a chance to refine technique, explore personal style, and prepare work that truly stands out. Over the course of the week, participants will focus on creating pieces that reflect their unique perspective, guided by instructors who understand the art school admissions process. It’s not just about checking boxes—it’s about pushing boundaries, experimenting with materials, and developing a cohesive body of work. In a relaxed studio environment, teens can share insights, hang out with others who get their creative drive, and walk away with a portfolio that’s ready to make its mark.
Grades 7 – 12
Lynn Arnsperger's training is in fine art as well as commercial art & advertising and includes training at Hanna-Barbera for teaching animation. While there, she trained to be (and eventually became) the Dean of Animation at ACA College of Design. At Hanna-Barbera, Lynn learned how a real animation studio operates. Many of her students have gone on to have successful careers in art, like a graphics designer for the Super Bowl, department head at Disney, and Assistant Editor for Dungeons and Dragons Magazine. Lynn is a regular teacher at CCAC and has led classes, workshops, and camps for numerous years.
CCAC’s scholarship program was created so that everyone has access to the arts and can express themselves. Students may receive scholarships of up to $100 per session (Spring, Summer, and Fall) based on availability by filling out a simple form.
Support for CCAC's scholarship program comes from the Gerald H. Fitzgerald Scholarship Fund and contributors like you.
