Thursday: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Auto-Charges must be set up for the same day of the week each week, and can be canceled at any time. No refunds or transfers if you miss a class, but you will not be charged for weeks when there is no class or if class is canceled by CCAC or the teacher.

Pilates is a form of exercise that concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Similar to Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance, and flexibility. Pilates also focuses on the mind-body connection.

Barbara Sferra
Maintaining a connection between mind, body, and form has been a focus throughout Barbara Sferra’s life. She participated in gymnastics from Jr. High School through College. She took her first dance class at the age of 22 and has been dancing ever since. She was introduced to Pilates as a means to strengthen her core and improve her overall movement and well-being. In August 2008, Barbara received her Pilates certification from Pendleton Pilates, where she taught Group and Private Reformer Classes, Mat Classes, and Initial Consultations until 2020. Barbara currently teaches Group and Private Reformer classes at Anchor Wellness. Professionally, Barbara has a background in Employee Relations and Training, and currently gives back to the community through various volunteer activities.
CCAC’s scholarship program was created so that everyone has access to the arts and can express themselves. Students may receive scholarships of up to $100 per session (Spring, Summer, and Fall) based on availability by filling out a simple form.
