Description

Welcome to this Spanish immersive class where students are spoken to in native Spanish and are positively encouraged to speak Spanish from the very first day of class. We want the learning to be a positive experience for all students, regardless of their current level. The curriculum follows a communicative and natural approach where students internalize the language naturally through meaningful communication, rather than memorizing grammar rules. The curriculum focuses on understanding compelling, real-life scenarios that also showcase cultural aspects of Spanish speaking countries, using interactive activities with a mix of traditional Spanish songs, targeted games, movement, and storytelling. The goal is communication, with grammar naturally picked up through context. This approach makes learning more relatable, playful and engaging, and creates a low-stress environment — students feel relaxed and engaged, free from the anxiety of making mistakes. The curriculum also progressively makes students more comfortable with new vocabulary, new expressions and proper grammar.
