Schedule Description

Beatle “Happenings” (with cocktails!)

Bite-sized lectures that present an archaeological dig into the history and creative process behind the music of The Beatles. Each week will cover one year of the 1960s, and provide a deeper understanding of the band through the lens of the albums. Guaranteed to be fun and informative for every level of fan, from Beatle-beginner to Beatle-manic! Class will be followed by a listening party and album-inspired cocktails that participants are taught to make themselves. Feel free to dress on-theme, you dig?

About the Instructor

Bonnie Farr

Bonnie Farr has been a lifelong student of the Beatles since she first fell in love with them at the age of four, and has traveled the world in pursuit of Beatle landmarks, history, and live concerts. Bonnie grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, and came to Cincinnati to complete her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. She followed her music degrees with a yoga certification at the Association for Yoga and Meditation in Rishikesh, India. She now works as a professional oboist in orchestras throughout the Midwest, and is a a faculty member in the music department at Northern Kentucky University.
