Sip, snip, and plant your creativity! In this workshop, you’ll assemble your own everlasting succulent using pre-cut pieces of soft leather and cork - no watering required! Build a little desert-inspired beauty that’ll brighten any shelf, desk, or windowsill.
As you glue, layer, and laugh your way through the evening, we’ll be serving up refreshing sangria—fruity, festive, and just the thing to get those creative juices flowing. Cheers to plants that never wilt!
Abby Langdon

Her career began on the indie craft show circuit in 2008 when she opened her business, abbydid, where she designed and produced plush creatures, mainly monsters, which now dwell (harmlessly) in homes around the world and have been featured in quite a few publications. This focus eventually evolved into 2D and 3D fiber art that appear in gallery shows, art fairs, and commercially commissioned settings. Langdon's techniques and focus are ever-evolving, and now include a millinery business of handmade hats and accessories incorporating traditional techniques.

Craft something cute and functional! In this workshop, you’ll shape, sculpt, and decorate your own trinket trays using air-dry clay. Perfect for holding jewelry, keys, tiny treasures, or whatever little odds and ends. Air-dry clay is forgiving, fun, and fabulously beginner-friendly.
While your creations take shape, we’ll be pouring vibrant Trinidad cocktails - citrusy and full of tropical flair. It’s the perfect pairing of hands-on making and island-inspired sipping. Come for the clay, stay for the getaway vibes!

With Fair Share Pricing, CCAC is eliminating the need for scholarship applications so that everyone has access to the arts and can express themselves. If you are unable to pay the full tuition amount, simply choose one of the provided scholarship levels. If you are in a position to pay more, we encourage you to select the Supporter Level or to make a donation upon checkout. You can find guidance HERE on which tuition level we suggest, but the decision is up to you — we will never ask for additional verification or paperwork
Support for the Fair Shair Pricing program comes from the Gerald H. Fitzgerald Scholarship Fund and contributors like you.
