November 7, 2026
12:00 - 1:00pm
Registration for this schedule starts on 09/09/2026 and ends on 11/07/2026
Participants must currently be 16 years or older.
We take about 20,000 breaths a day and for most adults, many of those breaths go through the mouth, come from the upper chest and move more air than the body needs. That habit is linked to:
- Snoring and restless sleep
- Exercise-induced asthma (EIB) and breathlessness during workouts
- Anxiety, racing thoughts and panic-like "air hunger"
- Neck, shoulder and low-back tension
- Fatigue, brain fog and slow recovery
In this hands-on clinic you'll measure your breathing with the BOLT test, learn why carbon dioxide is key to getting oxygen into your tissues, and retrain the three skills of functional breathing: nasal breathing, a slower pace and diaphragm breathing. You'll leave with your baseline score, a short daily practice and specific tools for sleep, exercise and stress.

Nick Sorrell
Nick Sorrell is a certified Advanced Instructor with Oxygen Advantage, a science-based approach to breathing. During his years as a Cincinnati firefighter, overnight shifts taught him firsthand what broken sleep, chronic stress and poor recovery do to the body. Retraining his breathing became one of his most powerful tools for fixing them. Today he teaches functional and athletic breathing to help people sleep better, stay calm under pressure and perform at their best.
